It only takes one request (okay, so the word 'comment' is closer to the truth, but hey... 'request' works for me!)... here are some previous work I've done.

I like the clown. His eyes remind me of someone I know.
1. This began as a portrait of Canadian artist Emily Carr using a photo from the web somewhere. The features were not turning out right so I dumped the idea of doing Emily and just finished it up in a haphazard way. (I think there's a tiny bit of me in there.) No projector used.
2. Sketch using a photo in a how-to art book. I like how she turned out. No projector used.
3. The title of this one is "Portrait of a Fool". It documents a personal ephiphany I had early one morning regarding a relationship. It was done in 1979. Its a self-portrait. When I started I wanted to show a real person as well as showing a 'fool' .... or clown, as it were. If I disregard the painting technique, I think it turned out well... what I wanted to express. Didn't even have a projector.
Hi CC: I only met you once (for others' reference ---- at the Seattle Airport)...as CM and I had a layover..this was years ago.
Since I only met you once I can't really conjer up exactly what you look like, but after seeing the paintings I thought they were self portraits possibly...
They are both great..Love the "feel" of them.. sandy
I thought the top one could be you, so you are in that painting. And I remember the bottom one, and I think you did a great job. I can actually remember quite well what you looked like when we met at the airport.
"…the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” –Hermann Goering, Nazi Reichsmarschall
