It Must Be Tough To Watch

It must be tough to watch the California evacuees in the stadium, with all the basic comforts of home, if you are a poor black man or woman from New Orleans.

A lot of people are saying that lessons learned there, are helping provide a different experience out here..I don't know..

Gee, I keep thinking how I would NOT want to ever have to go to an evacuation center and wait in line for bathroom trips....

oops looks like you touched a nerve up there above me..

I think Green Valley Lake made it through somewhat better than what was first thought. I'm hoping so...

Will be taking off in a few hours...see ya up north...

It means intellectually one can know that there are different people in leadership roles now, we have different environments involved (fire vs water), we learned our lessons better because of Katrina.... but emotionally it must be tough to watch how much better things are now than they were then.

This does not take away the horrible devastation people are experiencing now and the hardships they are and will be going through. It is simply acknowledging that it may be tough to watch emotionally how things are going now and think about how it went before.
