Cooling

We're cooling off. Our temperatures are now in the 90s. (00) Some 'cooling', huh. Well, it is cooler than 106, but ohmygawd its muggy. I think that's worse than triple digit numbers. I move my eyes and sweat pops out all over. What's up with that?

Well heck then stop moving your eyes...ha.

Hope it cools more for ya. Our evenings and mornings have been in the 60's and we will supposedly get up to 99 or 100 but they say it will feel worse than that because of the humidity. We are probably going to leave town this week for a trip either east or south, not sure. Probably go where it is cooler.

Going east or south?! Both of those directions sounds like it would be even hotter. East goes towards Nevada and south goes, well, south.

Go west, young woman, go west. Okay, maybe a little northwest. Good luck. (they're making promises of it being in the 70s next week...but you know how accurate long-range forecasts are.)

And to think that I think it is a bit warm and sticky here while you are surely melting there? Yup, I been in San Diego way too long. lol

we're still debating, we know we are going somewhere...if only day trips... we seem to be dragging our feet on the idea of leaving so maybe it's not in the cards.

OH yeah, muggy is worse that just hot. Years ago we visited Cinn. Ohio....OH my....the sheets felt wet, my hair felt wet... I felt like I had wet my pants...

I'm thanking God for our AC and a relief from some of this hot.

thanks for dropping by my site, and the kind words...I sit here in my computer chair typing a way and surprise! some person from far off comes reading it...amazing...and fun. Well, I'm a Pacific NWesterner too and last week was ridiculous...114? aahhgg... tonight a raging thunder storm, (love it) hail, and a torrential down pour, and now we're all back to being cool North Westerners again, thank god.

Finally this "Southerner" has been able to shut off the AC!!! I get clustophobic when I don't have the windows wide open everywhere. 77 degrees here and beautiful!! It is the first day in a week that it is not hot and humid and in the 90's. LOVE IT!!
