A Tip of the Hat
It is the end of a dynasty and a loss for the people. A great champion for the underdog has passed and an era is finished. No matter what your political leanings may be, I think we can all agree that Senator Kennedy had great determination and was a champion for the little people. He will be sorely missed.

Crusty ~~ You chose wonderful pictures of Sen. Kennedy. I did not agree with him on all issues, but I am truly saddened when a Dynasy like the Kennedy Boys comes to an end. They were all giants in their own way.
They will be missed.
So glad to see something postive said here about him. I saw some ugly things on facebook said about him and it kinda irked me. The thing that really stands our for me about him was his speech at Bobby's funeral.
People can always find something ugly to say about another, but I think for the most part it comes out of ignorance (not knowing very much about the person and what they did) and some tend to be so self-rightous they forget their own transgressions but always remember others'. Well phooy on 'em.
Well said CC.....I couldn't agree more. I see my spelling errors on my comment. Something wrong with my spell check thingy...now I am vulnerable to my own brain and typing fingers...yikes! Hahha
It's a sad day. His loss at this time will be huge. I'm sorry he didn't live to see a reasonable health care reform bill passed.
I was just looking at the picture of all three brothers and thought "Teddy's the best looking one... then Bobby, followed by JFK."
Don't ask me why I thought it was important enough to post a comment about it. Geesh, I don't know.
Keep it or delete it? Isn't this just a prime example of what we do with ourselves and our art? We think about doing something and then our logic kicks in (left brain, I suppose) and we don't do "it."
To people who follow a certain 'spiritual philosophy' of "no thinking", this could also be viewed as an example of thinking too much.
As for me, I think I will look upon this comment as an example of turning lemons into lemonade. Yeah. Sounds good.
(and yes, I realize there's a good chance no one will read this comment (timing and all) but I feel kind of like playing a little trick to see if anyone is paying attention. hee hee hee A very LITTLE trick.)
Haha...well I came back here, but mainly because I thought that the picture I searched for was the same one that you used, and wanted to double check. It was the same. When I went searching for mine this was the best one I could steal. I was surprised that a news station selected the picture as their favorite. There must be thousands of photos to choose from, but there was very few on the internet. I didn't look real hard though.....
I agree that Teddy's was the looker of the three and I thought JFK second and then Bobby...

Well, ya surprised me, Brenda!!
