Kool Aid and Potato Chips

Darius stayed with me Monday night. Well, actually Monday all day into Tuesday all day. And look... we're both alive! I tried to get a few candid shots but Mr Ham-it-up wasn't too cooperative.

He was semi quiet when I stuck some kool aid and potato chips in front of him. He wore the koolaid around his mouth like a badge of honor. Burp.

The burp was followed by a semi cheesy grin.

Coccoon, the second generation. D wanted to sleep in the front room and since it was just him (brother did not come over) I made up a pallet for him. He stayed on it for the most part, but occasionally rolled off.

We had a good time considering there's not much for him to do around here. Especially since his brother wasn't around.

It's fun getting to see him growing up. Like Hunt, they are now at that age where zoom, before you know it they are in junior high. I think that bottom pic is great...love it.

I have a few of Hunt to post from a trip he made to San Diego with his aunt, that I've had sitting in my files and last night ran across them again. Like D, H...is really not looking like a baby anymore.

I love these shots of D! He is just a really handsome little guy. And the alone time he has with you will always be so special to him.

I love the last picture too! Something about him being curled up...all snuggly and warm looking like he's in his coccoon makes me smile. Precious.

Beautiful photos. I especially like the one at the bottom. They're very entertaining at that age, aren't they?

It's the innocence of a sleeping child that is universally appealing...that's what I think. I love that bottom photo. And kids just have to ham it up and give cheesy grins if there's a camera in sight...hahaha

What a darling face ~~ do you draw and paint him? Love the way he's sleeping on the pallet.
