Ah... er... No Thank You. No Extra Protein for Me.

EEEEEUUUUUUUUU I've read about things like this, but I've not encountered it myself. Well... as far as I know.

I was adding water to a pot of broccoli in preparation for cooking. Luckily I had my glasses on at the time. I bet you know where I'm going with this, huh?

A very healthy looking earwig climbed out from under one of the broccoli pieces. I guess he didn't like water. Oh hell... what do I do now?!

Sigh. I'm not going into details, but I dealt with it, but boy, I'm sure going to be looking at broccoli in a whole different light in the future. A huge search light!

or coming home years ago into a dark kitchen and knowing exactly where the plate of brownies that I had baked that morning sat. Before even turning on a light I had to satisfy my craving that I thought about all the way home. Took a big bite AS I was turning on the light and low and behold ants galore all over the brownies.

worms. ants. eeeeuuuuuu

I often think about ants. I've had them invade my kitchen once. (knock on wood... they haven't come back.) I keep a glass of water on the counter so in the middle of the night I can get a sip or two. Lately I've been thinking that its a little dangerous to do in the dark. I best pay attention to my inner voice, huh.

ants. worms. eeeeeuuuuu I'm such a wuss.

I remember as a kid my mom would stop along the road and cut turnip greens or the such and when she would get home she'd clean them and start cooking them. More than once a big ole fat green worm floated to the top of those cooking greens. Sooooo, as much as I love them, I never eat them that I don't think of that!

Me too! I despise ants.....nasty little critters that they are. My daughter is having a fit about them right now. Nasty, nasty, nasty!!!

And CC - I hope that PM has fixed your laundry room......and that you get your money back! Squeeky wheel does get greased!
