Sell It on Ebay?

I went over to my friend's place yesterday for dinner and a game. She had fixed homemade chicken and noodles. I would say 'chicken soup' but the noodles suck up most of the moisture so it comes out to be just chicken and noodles. It was very good, too. She had made it yesterday so all the flavors were melded into one bowl of yumminess. She had also gotten a small Sara Lee cake in honor of my birthday.

She has to be careful with her diet due to health reasons so I usually come back home laden with goodness so she is not tempted by them. Yesterday was no different. I should be watching my dietary intake as well, but I'm the weaker one. (burp)

We played a game of Upwords and she won... again. That's about three or four times in a row. Odds should now be in my favor next time. As we played, we munched on nuts (and chocolate covered coffee beans which were fresh. oh dear. I, indeed, had to and did watch myself with those dangerous and delicious treats.) Right off the bat I noticed one large cashew that looked like a boot. "Should I try to sell this on Ebay?" I don't think a boot would bring anything close to what a Virgin Mary or a Jesus nut would bring. (I couldn't resist. Sorry.)

I needn't have worried. The boot got eaten along with all the other nuts in the heat of the game.

The corner of her porch again had its bright splash of color. I'm always impressed with the brilliant color of her red geraniums.

Sounds like a great day and very satisfying with all that good stuff. Cool "boot", I say it should have been sold, not eaten.

I love her flowers.

I LOVE chocolate covered coffee beans... BUT they will do a number on you if you eat them too late, even if a cup of coffee doesn't keep you up at night, a handful of those beans will...

Ask me how I know... (grin)....

It sounds like you have a great friend. One that doesn't forget birthday dinners either. It's always nice to get out and have someone cook for you, ugh?

Love the cashew boot! How clever for you to even see that. I'd have been eating away.....not thinking about any shapes, that's for sure.

The flowers are gorgeous!

I would have been hard pressed not to eat the cashew...being my favorite nut...

but, yup, some yoyo out there might have been willing to pay thousands for that boot shaped nut....

and here it was eaten in the thros of a hot game, and ya lost the game...

Geeeeee do ya think I could be a bit more upbeat???? Hahahahaha!!!

Happy Birthday!!! I am so glad you ate it, someone might have actually bid on it and that would have been just too depressing! :)

For businesses that operate not only web stores, but brick and mortar retail outlets, it's important to be sure that stock can be controlled centrally, and that orders taken through stores can be managed by the same system as used in the website. That means that it's simple to see what needs to be done, what orders must be filled, and to manage schedules, deliveries, and other tasks. Web shop providers are available that can give you control over multiple outlets at once. For smaller businesses, however, this feature would be unnecessary. Learn more with List Easy
