To the initiated, rain was expected. After all, its only June.
Besides the rain, one float turned into the crowd... no one hurt and just one person was bumped. (I guess they didn't see the BIG ASS FLOAT COMING.) Another float caught on fire. All in all, it wasn't the most pleasant of parades, but it was fun to watch. On my TV.

I really enjoy your blog. You must be very close to my husband and I, here in the pacific northwest, where the sun is always out (out of town that is). LOL. Anyway, I wanted to say thank you for the nice comments on our blogs. I have added yours as another to keep in touch with. Very enjoyable!

I use to like parades....when the kids were young...went to enough of them, so.... now I won't have any big ass float com'n at me!!

Didn't see the big ass float...LOL! I missed that highlight on the news! Haven't been to the Rose Parade in years, and must admitt I prefer the 2 annual parades we have down here in our little town some 40 miles south of PDX. Nice shots and love the commmentary.
