"Summer time and the livin' is easy...

...fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high." Except around here you better plunk down some money first and get a fishing license otherwise you'll find yourself in court fighting a fine. And lord, don't go fishing around these parts. Rivers are so contaminated you'll poison yourself if you eat what you catch. But cotton is high, though. 100% cotton is expensive!

Below is a picture of my friend's table in her kitchen nook area. The plants love it there! We once tried to relocate most of the plants around the house, but they yelled at us with their silent screams. "I'm dying... dying, I tell ya. Move me back into the light!!"

A painting I did several years ago that is now hanging on my friend's wall. (I've posted a picture of it before, but its been a while. Hey, its all about recycling.) I copied the painting from a how-to book.

Its warming up around here... again. Towards the end of the week its suppose to get into the 90 degree temperature range. Might even make it to 100. The one saving grace is that it should only last three or four days at most.
