I Failed

I failed. I failed miserably. Today was going to be the first day of the rest of my... oh... no, not that. Today was going to be the first day I started restricting TV time. I think it lasted 45 minutes. I don't wanna talk about it. Except to say... tomorrow is another day. And I have things to do so my chances are a little better. I will see just how tenacious I really am.

Since I got my new library card, I sat in the patio and read a book ~~ kind of a wierd Sci. Fiction but it was a nice change of pace.

When I watch too much TV I don't feel good... I think its a combo of the TV ads bombarding me that I'm sick and need this or that. Or "ask your doctor about this new med"... So to keep from feeling that yucky feeling I have to shut that box off... Rod being home for three days in a row with TV on, and I'm ready for him to go back to work...

He is getting better though, because he knows I can't stand the constant sound of it going on in the background (grin)...

Anymore I just watch a few shows in the evening

I use to be a TV addict when the kids were about 3 and I realized I was planning my day around TV shows, I knew I had to change... MY GOODNESS it was hard at first... But each day got a bit easier... They say is takes 30 days to change a habit... So keep going for the gold... After a while, you will prefer the silence to the noise...

And if you don't, who gives a shit, its your house and your life, you can watch TV all day IF you want too... (smile)

Yeah, Miss P is right...if you do or you don't...its' all up to you.
so don't feel bad....

However, I know the feeling. I'm limiting time on the computer. Too many other things to get done.
