Check out Betty LaDuke's art work. Full appreciation of it must surely need first-hand observation. They are large works and can take quite a while to finish. She was just featured on Oregon Art Beat. She doesn't sell her original paintings but rather sends them to various musuems for exhibition, although she is beginning to make prints available.
