A Glimmer of Hope for the Future

If you have a few minutes you may find this validictorian speech refreshing; commentary on the state of our robotic educational system. It gave me a glimmer of hope for the nation's (and the world's)future.

Read it for yourself and see if you agree or disagree with the speaker's sentiments.

Read the speech and the comments. Always a dilemma for educators in this age of credentialism, but I would rather a qualified aircraft mechanic service the plane than Orville Wright, a passionate but self taught inventor.
And, despite its limitations, the US system (and other similar systems) turns out remarkable people, or is it despite the systems?
