I've got coffee. I've got my flavoring I like to put in my coffee. The hold up has been that its whole bean coffee, not ground. Sigh.
Guess what I've been doing this morning.
Necessity is the mother of invention. Once again I am crushing coffee beans using a pair of pliers. Not as quick or tidy as a coffee grinder, but it will get the job done. You know, when its necessary.
Precious little coffee beans.....

I love it! You could put a coffee bean between your lip and your gum to get the flavor while your crushing one bean at a time!!

I feel like that's something you'd tell kids about to demonstrate how hard life used to be. Along the lines of "Lincoln had to read by candle light."

How very inventive! It's surprising what desperation will do.LOL! Hard little suckers, aren't they? I'm sure all the effort makes you appreciate the end product much more. :)
Have you tried putting them in a spastic??? plastic bag and using a hammer?
