Letter U for Uniform.
Artist uniform:
This uniform comes from my casual observations. Many artists do not wear a uniform, but plenty more do based on characters in movies and TV shows, real people interviewed on TV, and people at street art fairs.
Head Gear
Neck Scarf... this is the most popular one used. Summers can be difficult, but if the scarf is light weight, its possible to pull it off.
Tattoo(s)
Unusual Clothing
Sandals
Striped Socks (or mismatched socks in bright colors)
Beret...Dated but some still use it
The bangles and paint brush are optional.

I LOVE the socks!! And remember now, that if one wears the beret.....they better have a french accent...
Fun!!!
"The bangles and paintbrush are optional" ... that made me giggle! I always figured the "uniform" was a product of their creativity, especially of the art is really out there. I like your drawing!
OK... I loved the sketch, but you know me, I'm different to say the least... When I first looked at it, I thought that "tattoo" and her neckline was a one of her boobs hanging out... It took me a while to figure out, then I went "Ohhhh that was the tattoo and her neckline" hehehehe... So needless to say, I had me a giggle too... heheheheee
I thought you had taken up drawing temptress's
Miss P
Yep, it still looks like a boob to me,even on a second look, I think she should wear V necks from now on... hahahahahahhaaaaaaa

One lone boob. I see it. hahahahaha
artistic license! Yeah, that's it.
LOL
I think the uniform is pretty accurate. I recently started dressing better after watching, 'what not to wear.' Kinda scary.
Thanks for coming over to my blog. Yes, I do have many links to fantastic artists.
