Letter U for Uniform.
Artist uniform:
This uniform comes from my casual observations. Many artists do not wear a uniform, but plenty more do based on characters in movies and TV shows, real people interviewed on TV, and people at street art fairs.
Head Gear
Neck Scarf... this is the most popular one used. Summers can be difficult, but if the scarf is light weight, its possible to pull it off.
Tattoo(s)
Unusual Clothing
Sandals
Striped Socks (or mismatched socks in bright colors)
Beret...Dated but some still use it
The bangles and paint brush are optional.
Letter T for tomato.
I purposely splashed some water on this one (same painting) just to see how it would turn out.
I almost forgot I had already done my letter T a few days ago. I had bought these three very ripe tomatoes and realized I couldn't wait too long before consuming, otherwise they would have been wasted. As I was cooking a hamburger patty it suddenly hit me... "hey, this could by my letter T! If I hurry. Eat or paint, eat or paint them?" As you can see I did a quick watercolor before slicing one of them for lunch.
I'm stretching it this week. The letter S is for stew. That's right, stew.
I didn't take a photo of all the ingredients before hand... I didn't realize until after the fact that this would be my letter S. Anyway, I got a package of stew meat yesterday that was just the right amount and the right price. It was in the bin for the BUY-IT-NOW itmes.
Here is the stew as it cooked:
I forgot to take a done picture, but here's a photo of the leftovers. It was good.
And here it is all gone. Two meals and a couple of snacks.
Stew was perfect for the weather. We are back to cold weather. Cold, at least, for April. So comfort food was a perfect choice. Ya just don't get this excitment everywhere!
Letter R for Rooster.
Watercolor, Tombow watercolor pens, 140 lb watercolor paper.
I'm disappointed in the outcome but I'm certainly not surprised. The photo of this bird is quite spectacular, in my opinion, and this painting is sorely lacking in comparison. But its another letter down and another one to go....
I had done a rooster drawing back in October. If you want to check it out, go here. As I was going through older posts I noticed some of the youtube video's did not display in the 'box' area. I clicked on one and it took me to youtube where I could view it. I don't know why some no longer show up and others do. ??
Letter Q for The Quilt.

Letter P for Pony Tail.
Letter P for Pony Tail, again. Just a doodle from my imagination to use up leftover paint.
Letter P for Pepper...bell pepper. I've displayed these bell peppers a few weeks ago so its a repeat.
O is for Ocelot.
I'm not particularly pleased with the outcome but I was getting tired of it sitting there unfinished. Watercolor might not have been the best choice of medium, but its done. So there.
On to the letter P.
The letter N is for Neighbors.
I don't have any idea how this is going to look on screen. I'll be revisiting it and try some more after I get some practice in so the brush moves with confidence.
The letter L stands for line:
A Chorus Line to be exact. I know, I know... its a stretch, but a line is a line. And yes, some might say "HEY?! Is that fair?!" (clears throat) Why yes.. it is fair.
The letter K is for Kittens. A Bengal kitten.
How about Jester and Jack O'Lantern?
The jester may look a little haggard but he's really only 27 yrs old. He's not very funny and his life is difficult because of it. Goes to show how important a good choice of career is in life.
I have decided to really stretch the letter G subject for this week out of fear of falling behind. (I've got to get going on letter H.) The G is for Graphic. A graphic depiction of fake orchids in a small vase. 
B is for Broccoli. I slapped this together a couple of days ago while 'mom' and the boys were gone for a little bit. "Oh boy", I said to myself, "I've got this done ahead of time. Perhaps I'll be able to do another one. Lets see.... B is for bare bottom." But as you can see, I did not get around to doing the second vision.
But I have 24 more chances to do extra 'projects'.
We had two people killed a few days ago... both happened within a 24 hr. period of time, but they don't seem to be related. Today there was someone who came to my door, showed me a badge (although he looked retired in his regular clothes... maybe he's part of that special unit of retired officers), and asked if I had seen anything unusual during that night. I had not seen anything other than the police cars cruising in search mode.
