So... sometimes it doesn't pay to buy batteries on sale. It most likely means they are old. They don't have the same level of engery. I just put new batteries in the camera a couple of photographs ago and they are already out of juice. Its way too soon. I suppose it could be the camera (5 yrs old) but the odds are with the batteries.
Bottom line... no pictures for a while. ('for a while' could be a day or a week. I'm not sure.)
I don't have anything else to talk about, either. I just wanted to leave a footprint.

CC - what adorable pics of your grandson's. I love the thumbs-up sign! Nothing is sweeter than to have them run to you with open arms and yell "GRANDMA"! It makes me feel all fuzzy and tingly all over. What could make you feel better? I love when you post their pics.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Have you try using rechargeable batteries? That is all I use anymore and it also saved me some cash each time I need to go get new batteries.
I use reusable batteries too and the problem is solved.
Thumbs up to the wee ones!
next camera make sure it uses a lithium rechargeable battery... The cameras are just a bit more expensive but not really when you include battery costs...
awwww he is sooooooo cute....!!! and so growing up. How old is he now....I use rechargeable too.
sandy
Thanks for the "footprint"
The boys are adorable ~~ just want to squeeze them!
I learned the hard way when I bought my hearing aid batteries on sale....."What did you say?"
LOL:) Wanda
You can buy rechargeable battereies with a recharger for about $15-18 at Walmart where I got mine. And they take only one hour to recharge .
That is such a cute picture of Darius!!!
Opps I meant V, but, D is in the picture toooo.
I know I said it before, but, I can't believe how V has grown up!!
I use to have a recharger/charge-able batteries. I let one of my daughter's/family use it and I never saw it again. I'm such a slow learner!
Can you say 'stimulus payment'? My first thought was to put the $$ in savings, but I hear Wal-Mart calling me. I don't always think of Wal-Mart so I'm glad tg mentioned it. I'll get hooked up with recharge-able batteries and a sturdy table. (Yes, I'm still talking 'sturdy table'. I thought I had one, but it turned out to be made of tin foil.)
