This article is a bit worrisome to me. Its written by people I'm not familar with so the accuracy or accountability is up in the air (accuracy of mainstream news media is up in the air too). However, the article might explain why the republican party is trying to keep Palin from doing interviews. (Are you really trying to tell us she was fully vetted?)
You can find the article here.

I just read the article by Anne Kilkenny that is linked on the page you sent us too. Very interesting and ....although I have no intention for voting repub, if I did, this would stop me in my tracks and make me do more investigating..
I googled Kilkenny (I couldn't find a link..I'll probably go back to the page and have to say "duh") and found the email she had sent out to her friends and family. The email that has been shared all over the place, from the sounds of it. (What was McCain thinking? I think subconsciously McCain doesn't want to be president. I liked McCain until he changed his mind about some things. The GOP puts a lot of pressure on folks.)
Ya gotta wonder about things when a person has the nickname of barracuda.
Thx for mentioning Kilkenny, Sandy.
Not to sound argumentative, because I am still educating myself on all candidates. I read the letter. I gave it a lot of thought. And then I thought - most of Alaska is aware of this letter, and she still has an 80% approval rating. So basically, 80 out of 100 people think that letter doesn't hold any weight to the job she's doing in office. 20 out of 100 people probably see her that way /or/ have very liberal views and don't like her mainly because of her political party. I think that should speak more than the letter does, though it did give me pause.
(and when I say letter, I'm referring to the one sent out to about 100 people and that is circulating around the internet - not the article you linked, sorry - just to make that clear)
Thanks for your comments, Leanne, and I'm glad you are still checking out all the candidates.
To be honest, this email could be bogus too. In this age of electronic manipulation you can't even believe what you see (photo manipulations, etc.) so everything must be taken with a grain of salt.
I've heard that 20% of the population is Innuits (did I spell that right?), the rest are republicans. hahaha just kidding. I don't think they are all republicans, but who knows for sure.
I saw an interview with six of her friends... several of them were not voting for McCain/Palin and the others didn't want to say. That gave me pause, also.
Its a tight race for sure. I am looking forward to Palin's being interviewed by someone, so we can hear a little more about her views and opinions.
