I remember I drove it back from wherever we fetched it from and it was only running on three cylinders instead of four. New plugs and leads fixed that. It was a good car and had the best headlights of any car I've owned. I didn't get a drivers license until I was 34, so it wasn't so much a matter of freedom as the ability to taxi kids around with ease. Before that I got around on a pushbike.Sue Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15864986500627496240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14004564.post-24312492299491954512010-02-14T08:03:30.104-08:002010-02-14T08:03:30.104-08:00My first car was a baby blue Pinto hatchback that ...My first car was a baby blue Pinto hatchback that I received as a high school senior. I did not care that I did not look cool. I was just delighted to be FREE to come and go as I pleased. My college friends still tease me about that car, how I would tear out and leave them standing in a cloud of exhaust.
